  The Family School and Family School West offer daily Extended Day programs that run from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Students may be collected any time prior to 6:00 p.m. For Toddlers, Extended Day is an extension of the day, with additional Art, Music and Movement, special projects and outdoor play. Our Preprimary students East and West enjoy a Special each day. Depending on location, these Specials may include Art and Art History, Science, Gardening, Baking, Cultural Arts, Soccer and Chess. All Specials are completed by 5:00 p.m. for those who wish to collect their children earlier. Along with improved gross motor and practical life skills, awesome science experiments, the development of strategic thinking, enhanced creativity and a developed appreciation for artistic expression, Extended Day is also an opportunity for time with friends, and more individualized attention where needed or desired academically.
