  School year camps FOR THE CHILDREN BORN FROM 2015 TO 2020 Camp Located at 535 Clinton Ave Join us for the Aozora's School Year Day Camps! Children will be immersed in Japanese culture and language during the camp as the program is held in Japanese and all of the day-camp themes are specifically selected to deepen the children’s connection and understanding of Japan and Japanese culture. The program is for children from Kindergarten to 5th Grade. All the activities will be held in Japanese. Thus, attending students must be able to understand Japanese instruction. Children will also enjoy freshly prepared lunch served for the camp.

  The Family School and Family School West offer daily Extended Day programs that run from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Students may be collected any time prior to 6:00 p.m. For Toddlers, Extended Day is an extension of the day, with additional Art, Music and Movement, special projects and outdoor play. Our Preprimary students East and West enjoy a Special each day. Depending on location, these Specials may include Art and Art History, Science, Gardening, Baking, Cultural Arts, Soccer and Chess. All Specials are completed by 5:00 p.m. for those who wish to collect their children earlier. Along with improved gross motor and practical life skills, awesome science experiments, the development of strategic thinking, enhanced creativity and a developed appreciation for artistic expression, Extended Day is also an opportunity for time with friends, and more individualized attention where needed or desired academically.   Chores made easy.... That's a great idea!! Kids want to be responsible; they want to have a purpose and independence, but somehow us parents made it ok for them to forget those very same values we were raised with. If there were a way to create a craving in children to do their chores, wouldn't you want to experience that for yourself? It's like a snowball that starts out as an awkward shy kid that gets nudged down the mountain. One cycle at a time getting bigger, stronger, and gaining momentum to make smart choices, and take care of themselves because they've learned just how great that feels, for themselves. We're not saying our apps are magic, but from day one the goal has been the same. Help families work together. Help kids find energy in being responsible and taking control in productive ways. They need it... The world is really complicated these days but there's nothing more precious than raising kids and having a young family. I know I personally miss those days.
